Photo & Media Consent

Highland Realms Comic Con is committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone. This Photo & Media Consent agreement applies to all attendees, vendors, staff, volunteers, and guests. By entering Highland Realms Comic Con, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Event Photography

Official photographers and videographers will be present.
You may appear in photos, video footage, or livestreams.
These may be used in promotional materials, social media, or future advertising.
No compensation is provided for such use.

Attendee Photography

Attendees may take personal photos and videos.
Please ask permission before photographing individuals or items at stalls.
Respect anyone who declines.

Vendor & Stall Photography

Vendors may display “no photography” signs at their stalls.
Attendees must respect stall photography rules.

Minors

This event is open to all ages. Minors present may appear incidentally in photographs.
Guardians are responsible for ensuring minors avoid photography if they do not consent.

Opt-Out Requests

If you wish to avoid being photographed:

Notify staff at entry
Staff will attempt to accommodate reasonable requests
Avoid posed group/photo areas and stage events (such as the costume competition)
We cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all imagery due to crowd settings

Media & Press

Accredited media must:

Check in with staff before filming
Abide by event photography guidelines
Not obstruct walkways or disrupt activities

Safety & Conduct

Photography or filming must not:

Involve harassment
Block aisles or exits
Create unsafe situations

Violations may result in removal.
