Code of Conduct
Highland Realms Comic Con is committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone. This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, vendors, staff, volunteers, and guests.
Expected Behaviour
Everyone must:

Treat others with respect

Use inclusive and appropriate language

Follow staff instructions

Keep walkways and exits clear

Report safety concerns to staff immediately

Wear wristbands/badges visibly
Prohibited Behaviour
The following will not be tolerated:

Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or intimidation

Hate speech

Violence or threats
-
Theft or vandalism
-
Excessive alcohol use or illegal drug use

Selling prohibited or dangerous items
-
Disrupting panels, events, or vendor areas
Cosplay & Costumes
Costumes must:

Be appropriate for a family-friendly event
-
Include no real weapons
-
Use only safe, non-functional prop weapons
Prop checks may be required.
Photography Etiquette

Always ask before taking photos of others or items at stalls.

Respect anyone who declines.
-
Do not block pathways to take photos.
Enforcement
Violations may result in:

Verbal warnings
-
Removal from the event without refund
-
Permanent bans
-
Contacting law enforcement
Reporting Issues
If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, contact event staff immediately.
